We've been traveling by land. Camping is part of the long and arduous process.

How can they not know how to properly set up a tent yet?? Make them do some hard labor for that.

It's not so much that they don't know how to set up a tent. In fact, the boys have got that down pat.



It's keeping things out that needs to be improved upon.

Well... The Crimson Savannah is one of our destinations.

[She's not really enthused about having to meet the more predatory Beastmen, but they do need to secure that area.]

Well, the oceans are the dragon's domain
Their inherent magic abilities allow visitors who cannot survive underwater to live there.
The dragons tend to be isolated but they are not unkind.

Some dragons can be entertaining.
Others well... They're just like any other folk.
Spending all your time under the sea could make one odd but that's for anyone who stays in one place for too long.

It's not as if the sea's a small place, anyway. Probably. I dunno, I've never been deep-diving just for the entertainment.
