Ai
The environment at JPs could get rather stuffy sometimes, so having a little midnight scroll gave him a peace of mind. It'd be a quick little something to do before he went to bed. After all, it was important to save up on his strength for the harsher days ahead. But right now? He just humming rather innocently with a bit of skip to his step as he's leaving the JPs building.]
Mmm... Nothing beats the fresh night air. Hope no one's gonna mad at me for sneaking out this late.
[Sometimes, Otome or Makoto would dote on him for the sake of his personal health. But he thought that they should learn to take things more easy!]
DS2 Civilian Ai...
Great, lost again...! I knew I shouldn't have made that turn. Lien's going to get mad at me... Everything's already such a huge mess.
[Ai Thao Kha and her twin sister, Lien definitely didn't have the best timing in the scheme of things. How were they supposed to know that their trip to Tokyo wasn't going to go as planned? They just wanted to check out the sights and sounds, take pictures, eat good food (LOTS of good food in Ai's case), but then the earthquakes occurred and then the monsters...
Ai Thao sighs and rubs her eyes tiredly. In the distance, she sees the JPs building... She understands that the mysterious organization had been making efforts to mitigate the damage and support civilians, but would they even help a foreigner like her?
And then she saw the boy with the white bunny jacket leaving the building. Strangely enough, it struck her as comforting, maybe because they were wearing similar clothing. Normally shy and reserved, Ai decided to pluck up her courage and call out to him.]
Um... Excuse me! Hello!
[A black bunny waves to the white bunny.]

[A native Spanish speaker would've been face palming at how bad Hiro spoke. However, ever the social butterfly, he's just excited to see a new face! He approaches her as if he was meeting an old friend. Some might chastise his overly trusting and sociable ways, but who cares! A person! At least, she wasn't madly yelling at him or summoning a demon in his direction!
But being a bit of an scatterbrain, Hiro's eyes immediately hyperfocus onto the girl's jacket. He doesn't even hold back a rather excited gasp.]
Whoa! Where'd you get that jacket? It's so cute!
[If this person liked bunnies, then they had to be a good person without question!]

I found it at one of the shops in Harajuku. You can find all sorts of crazy fashion there and-...
[Oh, wait let's backtrack here.]
Oh, but that's not the point right now!
no subject
[Okay, Hiro. Calm down with your rabbit obsession. He pauses before clearing his throat. Take two.]
--Um, sorry. I get kinda riled up when it comes to my favorite things. So, uh... How can I help you?
no subject
[She points to the building he just exited out of and then continues to speak, gesturing with her hands as if to make up for her understandable, but not ultra-refined Japanese speaking skills.]
I was wondering if you know anyone there? That can help me? I'm...
[Ai gulps and her voice becomes shaky.]
I'm lost. If this is too much, I'm sorry, but I don't know what else to do or who to ask and...

IT'S HIRO TIME
The Death Clip today made his heart sank as he saw the familiar hotel and the girl who was murdered by the demons attacking there. Ai Thao Kha was going to die today. That's what fate was telling him. Jeering at him like some sadistic clown laughing from the audience seats.
Hiro didn't know Ai Thao very well, but they formed a bond that night. No matter how small it was, Hiro valued bonds. It didn't matter if he had known her for years or even five minutes ago... If she was in trouble, if she was going to die... Then he'd make the choice to reach his hand out and save her. If he chose to ignore this, then the regret would've killed him on the inside.
You're a hero, aren't you? You've saved plenty of lives, haven't you? There's no other way! Hiro forces his hoodie up as he grits his teeth with determination. Let's kick some demon asses!]
Faster, Byakko! We gotta make it in time! We can't be too late!
no subject
But the clock is ticking for Ai Thao even though she and the captives at the hotel aren't aware of it yet. The demons have invaded the lobby and people are scrambling to get back into the available rooms to lock their doors. Ai had woken up to what felt like another earthquake, but when she ran outside her room, the cause was the running and rampaging of the monsters. She couldn't afford to stay locked up in her room when it was clear that their intention was to invade and destroy. Grabbing her phone and turning it on, she went to the summoning app...
No good. It still displayed an error message and thus Ai was not getting any supernatural help on her side. Damn it.
Going downstairs was just a quicker way to die. She's going up and up until she's on the roof. Maybe there will be a JPS agent who could see the situation and find her first?
Unfortunately for her, when she gets up to the roof, there's a swarm of Harpies waiting for her. God, this is hell, but Ai isn't going down without a fight. There's a handy trick she remembers from Lien; hairspray plus a lighter, but the harpies are moving in on their prey.]
Stay away!
no subject
The good news was that he didn't have to ask around about any hotels or a girl in a black bunnyhood coat. He had already known the place and Byakko had memorized her smell as well. There's a loud roar as Byakko storms through the lobby and Hiro yelling out a few "Watch out!" and "Duck!" as he blasts away a few demons with spells from his hands. He couldn't guarantee the safety of everyone here... After all, he was just one boy. But he'll be damned if he didn't try everything he could to help.
Hiro might've not been aware of it, but there were some JPs agents that were following from behind and doing their best to assist. This kid had a history of some reckless behavior, so naturally Yamato would want people to keep an eye on him. Hiro Kageyama was a good person, but he always had a bit of a selfish streak.
Arriving on the rooftop, Byakko launches out a Ziodyne blast to fry one of them to a crisp. This was a signal to the Harpies that there was a new opponent that they had to focus on and the tiger leaps between Ai and them. Hiro lets out a sigh of relief and pulls back his bunnyhood with a confident smirk. It was always important to lighten the mood with a silly quip.]
Ladies, please! Let's break this up! There's enough of me to go around!
no subject
[Her eyes widen when Byakko gets between her and the harpies keeping her sufficiently covered from the immediate danger.]
How did you know I was up here?
[She takes a second to turn around before a stray harpy tries to swoop down and grab her with its claws. Acting quickly, she uses her hairspray and lighter, pushing down on the nozzle of the former and flicking open the latter to make a rather impressive and improvised flamethrower that sets the demon aflame. As the creature shrieks in pain, she throws her items away and goes near Byakko and Hiro.]
There! That's one down, but...!
[ There are so many more harpies to go and Ai's not sure if Hiro and Byakko can take them all on even if the latter is a powerful demon.]
Can I get on?
no subject
[Think, Hiro, think. Fighting all of them at once would be suicide. He was confident in Byakko and the spells that he could launch, but they was was only two of them. Overestimating yourself in the world of demons was always a fatal mistake. In the first place, he came here to save Ai. He couldn't forget that objective.
And they weren't out of the woods yet. They had to get out of here or they'd both become demon chow. As another Harpy flies down, Hiro lists his hand up to launch a quick Agi spell (a fireball) to stun it in the face. The demon cries out as it shakes itself... At that time, Hiro offers his hand to Ai.]
Come on! We gotta get out of here first!!

It's evening and the shopping and entertainment district is bustling. You had groups going out to gamble, shop, and dine. Ai Thao isn't there for pleasure though as much as she wanted to explore. In fact, she's in a conundrum of sorts and is pacing back and forth.]
I didn't think this far ahead... How am I going to finish this??
[And then something, no, someone, catches her eye.]
Um... Excuse me! Wait up!
no subject
And this girl calling out to him out of the blue was definitely a person who seemed out of her element. ]
Huh? What is it? You lost or something?
[ And while Rock doesn't have as much clout in this town as Terry Bogard, he does at least has the know how on how to deal with issues himself. ]
You better do what you need to do soon. Later times mean the bad guys start to make a scene of the place... especially in these parts where some cops don't do anything here if their names aren't Mary Ryan or Kevin Rian.
no subject
[The girl pauses as if unsure of what her next move is going to be. She's clearly thinking of something, but it's hard to tell what on earth she wanted to ask. Directions seem like the most obvious but...]
It's not just that, it's just... I mean. Um. I need...
[She's struggling to find the right words as she pokes her fingers together and glances back and forth.]
... Could you...?
no subject
[ Not that he is opposed to giving a helping hand to someone, but a part of him knows better than to fall for a pretty face in these parts. Plus her fidgeting around is also a bit odd, but not quite suspect yet. ]
Have we met? Do I owe you something or... does Terry owe you something he can't afford to at the moment? He's probably at the PaoPao Cafe if you're after him. If its me, just spit it out.

[There's an audible gulp and she looks straight at Rock. Her vivid blue eyes simmer with determination and uncertainty.]
You. It has to be you. Could you be...
no subject
Can you be my boyfriend?

I was gonna ask Akitaka, but you're closer.
You can afford a break. Get yourself a snack too

no subject
Why can't you go, then?
[What's your reasoning, Shiki? Is she bored and in want of company, this desire manifesting as bothering Light in the baleful hours of the night?]
